  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 8 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 6 slices bread
  • 18 or 20 oz. can crushed pineapple

    Beat the eggs.

    Add the sugar and a small handful flour (less than 1/4 cup) to eggs.

    Remove crusts and tear up the bread.

    Mix with butter.

    Add bread and butter mixture to beaten eggs.

    Add the undrained pineapple.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour in buttered casserole (1 1/2-quart).
