- 5 slices bread, crust removed and diced into small pieces (7 slices if light bread is used)
- 1 large (No. 2) can crushed pineapple and juice
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter (not light)
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs or Egg Beaters
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Beat until fluffy, then fold in pineapple and bread.

4Place in 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6May be doubled for a 13 x 9-inch dish.

7Great with ham or bacon and sausage.
