- 1 c. white sugar
- 5 Tbsp. pineapple juice from a can of pineapple rings
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- maraschino cherries
Directions

1Place 9-inch round cake pan on a burner over medium heat. Melt together butter and brown sugar.

2Place 4 pineapple rings with maraschino cherries in the center of the pan.

3Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour the cake batter over the pineapple rings.

4Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
