Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 6 maraschino cherries

Directions

    Mix cake mix according to directions on the box.

    Melt margarine in iron skillet on top of melted margarine.

    Dot with maraschino cherries.

    Pour cake mix on top.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until tested with toothpick.

    Turn upside down on plate to serve.

    This cake is larger than a regular plate size. Use a meat platter plate.
