Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1 small can pineapple slices
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix brown sugar and butter.

2Pour in bottom of cake pan. Place pineapple slices in this mixture.

3Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.

4Mix butter, white sugar, egg and vanilla together.

5Alternately mix flour mixture and milk into egg mixture.

6Pour carefully on top of sauce already in pan.

7Bake at 350° until cake is done.

8Remove from oven and turn over on cake serving dish.

9Let cool.

10A round 9-inch pan is good to use.
