- 1/4 c. fruit sweetener
- 1 c. sliced pineapple (in own juice)
- 16 walnut or pecan halves
- 1/2 c. fruit sweetener
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine melted margarine and 1/4 cup fruit sweetener and spread evenly in 9-inch square or round pan.

2Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice.

3Arrange pineapple rings in pan.

4Arrange nuts around pineapple.

5In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup fruit sweetener and margarine.

6Blend in slightly beaten eggs and vanilla.

7Add reserved pineapple juice and milk.
