  • 2/3 c. sweet milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1 lb. pork sausage

    Spread on sausage (which is at room temperature).

    Roll up like a jelly roll and chill.

    Slice thin and bake in moderate oven at 350° until cookies are light brown.
