- 3/4 c. flour
- 2/3 c. corn meal
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. honey (I use sugar)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Beat egg in bowl and add milk.

3Melt margarine in iron skillet or baking pan.

4Combine dry ingredients and sift together.

5Add dry ingredients to egg-milk mixture and mix well.

6Add margarine and mix well.

7Add honey or sugar, as desired. Bake 15 minutes or until almost done.

8If done enough after 15 minutes, turn over in pan and finish baking and browning the top. (All ovens differ, so baking time may differ.)

9Eat and enjoy.
