- 1/4 c. Hawaiian salt
- 1/2 tsp. crushed chili peppers
- 1/2 c. shoyu
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 c. cold water
Directions

1Cut meat 1/2 x 1 x 6-inches long.

2Mix all other ingredients together.

3Add meat.

4Let soak 20 minutes, then turn.

5Soak for 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.

6Place strips of beef on 1/4-inch mesh wire pipi kaula screened drying box.

7Place box in sun for 8 hours.

8Take drying beef indoors at sundown.
