- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- warm water, enough to hold dough together
Directions

1Sift flour, salt and baking powder.

2Add egg and water to make a soft dough.

3Turn on lightly floured board and knead gently about 5 minutes.

4Allow to stand about 10 minutes before you roll. Roll dough quite thin, cut in 2 inch squares, place a tsp. of filling in center and fold corners, making triangles.

5Seal edge well by pinching.

6Cook in boiling salt water.

7Allow to simmer until they float to the top, about seven minutes.

8Drain. Fry chopped onions in butter and pour over Pirohy.
