- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. margarine, melted
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. anise flavor
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 shot glass Sambuca or Anisette
Directions

1In blender, beat eggs until fluffy.

2Gradually add sugar to beaten eggs.

3Mix until smooth.

4Add melted margarine, vanilla, anise flavor and Sambuca.

5Mix until well blended. Sift flour and baking powder together in a large bowl.

6Add egg mixture and beat with hand mixer until smooth.

7Batter will be sticky.

8Drop by teaspoonfuls in center of pattern on pizzelle iron.

9Heat until golden.

10When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar through sifter.
