- 3 eggs
- 34 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon anise extract (optional)
- 12 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 34 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

1Beat eggs and sugar together.

2Add melted butter (room temp), and vanilla and anise if using.

3Sift dry ingredients into mixture and mix well.

4Drop by tablespoon full into a preheated pizzelle iron.

5Cook time and amount used per cookie will vary depending on iron, approximately 1.5 minutes.

6Remove when just golden, cookie will crisp and continue to cook when removed.
