- 2 c. scalded milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Mix sugar, eggs, salt and flavoring and combine with scalded milk.

3Pour into custard cups or baking dish.

4Set in a pan of boiling water and poach in a slow oven (300°) until firm.

5A knife blade run into the center of custard should come out clean (30 to 35 minutes if in cups).
