- 1 plantain
- 1 onion medium, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 3 cilantro /coriander leaves
- 1/2 lime /lemon
- salt as needed
- oil for shallow frying
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
Directions

1Boil the plantain,peel the skin and mash it nicely.

2In a mixing bowl,combine all the ingredients from onion to salt (squeeze the lime/lemon )along with the mashed raw banana.

3Divide them in to 8 equal portion.

4Take one portion and make a round ball and flatten it gently to a round patty.

5Roll the plantain patty in the breadcrumbs and shallow fry it till golden brown on both sides.

6Serve hot with ketchup.
