- 3 to 4 lb. dressed trout or smaller
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 slices lemon
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 sprig parsley
- 2 c. white sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Directions

1Place fish in skillet; add milk, water, lemon slices, allspice, salt and parsley.

2Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, until tender.

3Remove to hot platter.

4Combine white sauce, lemon juice and eggs; pour over fish and serve.
