- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- approximately 3 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm milk.

2Add 1 cup plain flour, margarine (melted) and salt.

3Beat by hand until fairly smooth. Add enough of remaining flour to make a stiff dough.

4Brush top of dough with butter.

5Let rise until double in bulk.

6Punch down. Shape and roll fairly thin.

7Cut with large biscuit cutter.

8Brush with melted butter.
-
9Fold in half and brush again.

10Let rise again.

11Bake at 375° until golden brown.

12(These freeze well.)
