- 1 lb. lean ground pork
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
- bread crumbs
- flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Mix pork, egg, onion, salt and pepper.

2Wet bread; crumble into meat mixture.

3Shape into 1 1/2 to 2-inch balls; roll in bread crumbs and brown well in 2 tablespoons of oil.

4When browned, cover with water and simmer 1 hour.

5Thicken with flour to make gravy.

6Serve with mashed potatoes and a tossed salad.
