Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef chuck roast (boneless)
  • 4 qt. water
  • celery leaves from 1 bunch celery
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Put chuck in water with celery leaves, salt, pepper and tomato soup.

    Simmer at a low boil until beef falls apart.

    In each soup bowl, put a large spoonful of rice and ladle soup over it.
