- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Cream butter, 1/2 cup confectioners sugar and almond flavoring. Combine flour, pecans and salt and stir into butter mixture.

2Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

3Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

4Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.

5Have ready a plastic bag containing one-half box confectioners sugar.

6As cookies come from oven, drop 2 to 3 at a time into bag to coat with sugar.

7Place on rack.

8Cool one half hour.

9Repeat coating process.

10Let sit overnight.

11These are called Mexican Wedding Cakes.
