  • 3/4 c onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/3 c red wine
  • 1 1/2 c chicken broth
  • 1/4 c pomedgranate juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

    Saute onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add wine and bring to boil until the liquid almost evaporates, deglazing pan. Add salt, sugar, juice and 1 c broth. Reduce to 1/2 c liquid (about 10 minutes). Whisk in flour and 1/2 c broth. Strain, discarding solids.
