- 3 lb. chuck roast
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 large onions, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- horseradish
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Brown chuck roast in hot oil on stove.

2Place roast in baking pan; salt and pepper to taste.

3Pour cream of mushroom soup from can to top of roast.

4Spread.

5Separate onion slices into rings. Lay over top of roast.

6Cover with tinfoil.

7Bake in 325° oven for 3 hours.

8Remove foil.

9Mix horseradish to taste with sour cream. Spread over roast (scrape onions off first).

10Broil under broiler until bubbly.

11Serve with rice or boiled potatoes.
