Ingredients

  • 5 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Keep corn hot and crisp in a slow 300° oven.

    Combine rest of ingredients and cook to hard ball stage (270°).

    Pour slowly over popcorn. Mix well and shape into balls using butter on hands. Makes 15 to 20 balls.
