- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Beat milk, butter, flour and salt just until smooth.

3Mix in eggs, one at a time, but do not over-beat.

4(Batter should be no heavier than whipping cream.)

5Butter and flour muffin pans.

6Fill each tin no more than 3/4 full.

7Bake immediately for 15 minutes.

8Lower heat to 350° and continue baking for 20 more minutes.

9DO NOT OPEN OVEN!!

10Test one popover for doneness by removing it and checking to see if sidewalls are firm.
-
11If popovers are not cooked completely, they will collapse.
