  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 jumbo eggs

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Generously grease popover cups.

    Pour milk into medium-sized mixing bowl.

    Add flour and salt.

    With rotary beater or wire whisk, beat until well blended.

    Do not overbeat.

    One at a time add the eggs, beating in each until completely blended.

    Pour batter into cups filling 3/4 full.

    Do not scrape bowl.

    Bake at 425° for about 20 minutes.

    Reduce oven temperature to 325° and continue baking 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
