Popped Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 1 envelope onion soup
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms (liquid included)
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 lb. hamburger

Directions

    Put oil in a frying pan.

    Add rice and saute until all rice has popped (changed color and nicely browned).

    Stir constantly. Brown meat in another frying pan while rice is sauteing.

    Mix all ingredients together and put in a large casserole.

    Top with onion rings.

    Bake 1 hour at 350°.
