Poppy Seed Pound Cake

  • 1 yellow cake mix (plain)
  • 1 vanilla instant pudding (4-serving size)
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. poppy seed (optional)

Directions

    Beat all ingredients together for 2 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour tube pan, Bundt pan or 2 loaf pans.

    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.

    For moist cake do not overbake.

    Cool in pan 10 minutes.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
