- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
- nuts (optional)
Directions

1Stir together in frying pan.

2Melt shortening first.

3Stir in dates, egg mixture.

4Stir until thickens.

5Cool a little and add 3 cups Rice Krispies in bowl.

6Pour mixture over all.

7Add nuts. Grease hands.

8Roll into small balls.
