- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 c. boiling water
Directions

1Combine meat, egg, onion, pepper, salt and 1/4 cup rice.

2Mix well.

3Shape into 8 balls of equal size.

4Roll each ball in remaining rice and press rice into meat so it will hold.

5Place balls in pan; cover with tomato soup and boiling water.

6Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
