- 1/2 c. raw rice, washed
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Directions

1Mix the beef, rice, onion and seasonings.

2Form into small balls.

3Fry in hot oil, turning frequently, until light brown, but not crusty on all sides.

4Add tomato sauce and water; mix well. Cover; simmer for about 45 minutes.
