Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, browned in small amount of vegetable oil
  • 8 Tbsp. rice
  • 1 can consomme
  • l each bell pepper, onion, tomato, in thick slices
  • 1 Tbsp. minced dried onion
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Stir spices into rice on bottom of casserole.

    Top with browned pork chops.

    Add consomme Top chops with sliced onion, tomato and bell pepper.

    Bake covered 350° for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed.
