- 6 loin chops
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 oz. taco seasoning mix
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese
- 1 medium green pepper
Directions

1Sprinkle chops with salt.

2Brown in oil on both sides.

3Drain. Place chops in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

4Sprinkle rice around chops.

5Combine water, tomato sauce, taco seasoning and salt.

6Pour over chops and rice, cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Remove cover and sprinkle with cheese and top with green pepper. Cover and bake for 15 minutes.
