Pork Chops - Dogpatch Style

- 4 pork chops
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Trim a little fat from the edge of the chops and fry out in a heavy skillet.

2Remove pieces.

3Flour chops and brown in the hot fat.

4Combine remaining ingredients.

5Spoon fat from skillet and pour catsup mixture over and around chops.

6Cover and cook over low heat 1 1/4 hours or until very tender.

7Spoon sauce over chops once or twice during cooking and add a little water as needed.

8Serve chops and sauce with cooked rice.

9Serves 4.
