- 6 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 3/4 c. rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce (Italian)
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/4 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
- Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper.

2Brown in a 12-inch skillet in oil; remove and reserve.

3Saute rice, onion and green pepper in drippings until rice is golden.

4Stir in Hunt's sauce, water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt; bring to a boil.

5Arrange chops in rice mixture.

6Sprinkle with Italian herb seasoning.

7Cover. Simmer 35 to 40 minutes, until tender, adding cheese during the last 5 minutes.
