- 8 long nasube (eggplants), sliced and soaked in water for 10 minutes
- 1 tray pork slices
- garlic
- Japanese mushrooms, soaked in water (use water for cooking)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 chili pepper
- shoyu to your taste
- 1 round onion, sliced

4When done, place on paper towels. Cook pork

5in oil with crushed garlic.

6Add mushrooms, sugar, chili pepper, water and shoyu.

7Simmer for a few minutes, then add the nasube and round onion.
