Pork Shish-Ka-Bobs

Ingredients

  • 1 medium to large pork loin, cut into 1 to 2-inch cubes (depending on how much meat you need)
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. minced garlic (fresh or processed)
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. Regina red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. black pepper

Directions

    Combine and mix well the following:

    soy sauce, sugar, garlic, lemon juice, red wine vinegar and black pepper.

    Add cubed meat and toss well.

    Let marinate at least 8 hours in refrigerator, stirring (or shaking depending on container) 3 or 4 times so all meat gets marinated.

    Use wooden or metal skewers.

    Can alternate meat with fresh vegetables:

    onions, red/green/yellow peppers, squash, etc.

    Grill over hot coals until meat is tested done.
