Pork Steak Special

Ingredients

  • pork steaks (one per person)
  • 4 large leaves cabbage per steak
  • 1 c. cooked rice per person
  • 1 c. canned tomatoes with juice per person

Directions

    Bring a large pan of water to boil and remove from heat. Place cabbage leaves in water for 5 minutes to soften.

    Cook rice. Brown steaks and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Season tomatoes with salt and pepper.

    May add cayenne pepper if desired. Place a couple of leaves of cabbage for each steak.

    Place steaks on leaves.

    Spoon rice on steak.

    Ladle tomatoes with juice over rice.
  8. 8
    Cover with a couple of leaves per steak.
  9. 9
    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
