  • 3 to 5 lb. pot roast
  • cut up vegetables (carrots, green pepper, onion and potatoes)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Make a paste of the ingredients, except roast and vegetables. Sear meat on stove for 20 minutes.

    In 13 x 9-inch pan, layer 1/2 sauce, meat, vegetables and remaining sauce.

    Bake at 375° for about two hours, covered.

    Can also be made in crock-pot.
