  • small (2 to 3 lb.) pot roast
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 oz. red or white wine
  • 8 oz. water
  • 5 cloves
  • 2 or 3 bouillon cubes (beef)

Directions

    Brown roast in margarine.

    Add all ingredients; simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

    Cover; check often to see if liquid has evaporated.
