Potato Bake Casserole

Ingredients
- 7 or 8 medium baking potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. mushrooms
- 1/2 c. margarine, melted
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of garlic salt
- dash of parsley flakes (optional)
Directions

1Wash and peel potatoes and cut in thin slices.

2Place sliced potatoes in casserole dish which has been coated with spray shortening.

3Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley.

4Pour melted butter over this and place in a preheated 350° oven for about 30 to 45 minutes.

5Thinly slice onion.

6Mix onion and mushrooms together and spread over potato mixture.

7Reduce oven temperature to 300°; cover casserole dish and bake an additional 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft and bubbly.

8Sprinkle with parsley flakes.

9Serve hot with or without sour cream.

10A great side dish for almost any type of meat.
