  • 24 oz. shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed and broken apart
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 stick melted oleo
  • 8 oz. pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Mix hash brown potatoes with all the ingredients.

    Put in a buttered baking dish.

    Top with crushed crackers or cornflake crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
