- 24 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. corn flakes
- 1/4 c. melted butter
Directions

1Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Spread hash browns in bottom of baking dish.

3Saute onion in 1/4 cup butter until tender.

4Add the chicken soup, sour cream, salt and pepper to onion mixture. Spread this mixture over the hash browns.

5Sprinkle with grated cheese.

6Sprinkle corn flakes over the cheese and dribble 1/2 cup melted butter over the corn flakes.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
