Potato Casserole

  • 3 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 8 oz. grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 2 (16 oz.) cartons sour cream
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 2 c. cornflakes or Ritz crackers, crushed

Directions

    Mix potatoes, cheese, margarine, sour cream, onion, soup, salt and pepper.

    Put into casserole dish.

    Mix 1/2 cup margarine with cornflakes.

    Put on top of casserole.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    (May be prepared ahead of time and frozen.)
