  • 10 lbs Russet or regular baking potatoes
  • 1/3 the amount of onions that you have of potatoes
  • 8 eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Matzoh meal
  • Canola or Peanut Oil
  • Sour Cream
  • Apple Sauce

    Get your Cuisinart and the both the slicing and chopping blades.

    Peel Potatoes

    Using the Cuisinart, rough grate
  4. 4
    Do not drain liquid
  5. 5
    Switch to chopping blade and pulse 2 or 3 times. Do not pulse too much or liquify.

    Add onions.

    Using Matzoh Meal as a binder sprinkle in until mixture becomes lightly binded. Probably close to a couple cups. Do not make too thick.

    Heat up oil in pan.

    Dollop potato mixture into oil to make pancake.

    Cook until pretty brown.

    When cooked, let sit on paper towels for a number of minutes until the oil has been soaked away.

    Serve with Apple Sauce and Sour Cream
