- 2 c. chopped raw potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg
- vegetable oil or shortening
Directions

1Put potatoes through medium blade of food chopper or chop in blender (if you like, chop 1 small onion along with them).

2Add salt, pepper, flour and egg.

3Beat with spoon until well blended. Drop large spoonfuls onto hot, well oiled skillet or griddle. Cook until bottom is browned, then turn and brown the other side. A traditional accompaniment for pot roast.
