  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 c. onion, grated
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, crisp and crumbled
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • bacon drippings
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Put into a buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

    Bake at 425° for 25 minutes, then at 325° for 25 minutes.
