- 6 to 8 large potatoes
- 5 stalks celery
- 1 stick margarine
- skim milk
- pepper
- 5 carrots
- 2 large onions
- cornstarch
- salt
Directions

1Peel and chop or cut up carrots, cut up celery and chop up onions.

2Cover these with water and cook for about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.

3Cut up potatoes, cook until tender on medium heat.

4When almost done, add margarine and cook until melted.

5Mix cornstarch and skim milk and thicken to suit.

6Add salt and pepper to taste. When done, you can sprinkle parsley flakes on top.
