Ingredients

  • 1 (13 or 14 oz.) can clear chicken broth
  • celery
  • onions
  • carrots
  • potatoes
  • ham, cut up small
  • parsley flakes
  • 3 c. milk
  • salt and pepper
  • all-purpose seasoning (I use 1/2 tsp. Accent; other seasoning is okay)
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • milk

Directions

    Add vegetables and ham to the chicken broth.

    Add parsley flakes.

    Cook until done.

    Add 3 cups of milk, salt, pepper and all-purpose seasoning.

    Thicken with a paste made with flour and milk; when adding thickening, do not have soup boiling.

    Simmer.
