Ingredients

  • Potatoes (I prefer red with skins left on) enough for 2 per person
  • 1 can chicken broth or enough to cover potatoes
  • celery seed to taste
  • onion powder to taste
  • butter 1 stick
  • milk enough to add milky color
  • cheese slices American 10-18 slices or enough to make cheesy
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Wash potatoes and cut into cubes. Place into large soup pan and almost cover with chicken broth. add celery seed, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cook 20-25 minutes or until potatoes are tender. add butter and milk and then add cheese slices until desired cheesy consistency.
