  • 5 to 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. minced dry onions
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Cook potatoes only until firm; drain and cube.

    Combine sour cream, milk and onion.

    Place half the potatoes in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Cover with 1/2 the sour cream mixture. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.

    Repeat layers.

    Melt butter and combine with bread crumbs.

    Toss and sprinkle over top. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
