- 3/4 lb. (3 sticks) butter (no substitutes; room temperature)
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 large eggs (room temperature)
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. almond extract
Directions

1In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and eggs (add one at a time) until smooth.

2Add flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla and almond extract and beat until smooth.

3Preheat oven to 325°.

4Butter and flour (nonstick as well) a 10-inch tube, Bundt pan, 2 loaf pans or mini loaf pans.

5Pour batter into pan.

6Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Check after 45 minutes.

7(Knife will be clean when inserted in middle.)

8Cool 1 hour in pan.

9Freezes extremely well.
